Telesales Executive

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Executive with excellent tele communication skills to join a rapidly expanding financial services business based in the city centre of Glasgow.

Currently, our core team consists of 24 internal members of staff and 100+ sales consultants across the UK. With our rapid expansion continuing through 2022 we are searching for enthusiastic individuals who will make a real impact allowing you the opportunity to make the role your own.

We are looking for a highly enthusiastic and confident communicator who will be comfortable in a direct telesales role. Your primary function will be generating and confirming qualified sales leads over the phone to pass onto our sales team. You will be a natural communicator and comfortable in all aspects of maintaining excellent customer relationships on behalf of the company. As an effective Commercial Executive, you will be an excellent communicator with superior people skills. You must be comfortable presenting products or services over the phone as well as dealing with complaints and alleviating doubts should they arise.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
  • Answer questions about products or the company.
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and generate qualified sales leads.
  • Direct qualified prospects to the field sales team.
  • Enter and update customer information in the database.
  • Handle grievances to preserve the company’s reputation.
  • Go the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and help facilitate future sales.

Required skills:

  • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role.
  • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone.
  • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
  • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident proficiency in objection handling.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints.

You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, where getting it right first time is a prerequisite.

Remuneration:

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 basic, an achievable monthly target of 12 sales per month, which returns bonus of £1,800 per month. Overall, offering a very realistic OTE in excess of £46,000 per annum. Other benefits such as generous pension, gym membership, free car parking, hybrid/remote work also available after 2 week of training in office, etc. are also included.

Hours of work;

Monday - Thursday: 9.00am to 5.00pm

Friday: 9.00am to 2.00pm
